FEATURE · PAYMENTS

Take payments the way that suits your store — card, COD, or bank transfer.

Turn on any combination of payment methods, or offer all of them and let each customer choose at checkout. Nexlymate supports PayHere, Cash on Delivery, and bank transfer — all visible in the same order dashboard without switching between systems.

Three payment methods, one dashboard

Cash on Delivery is the dominant payment method for Sri Lankan e-commerce. Nexlymate treats it as a first-class option, not an afterthought. You can offer COD alongside PayHere online payments and bank transfer — and every order, regardless of how it was paid, shows up in the same pipeline with its payment status clearly marked.

PayHere integration

PayHere is Sri Lanka's leading payment gateway, supporting Visa, Mastercard, and local bank cards. When a customer pays via PayHere at checkout, the payment is processed and the confirmation is sent back to Nexlymate automatically. The order status updates to “Payment Confirmed” without you doing anything manually.

There is no separate PayHere dashboard to check. The payment status is right next to the order in your Nexlymate pipeline.

Cash on Delivery

COD orders are placed and tracked through the same pipeline as online payment orders. When the courier delivers and collects payment, you mark the order as COD Collected in the dashboard. COD orders show up clearly in your reports so you can track how much cash is expected from couriers at any point.

Bank transfer

Customers who pay by bank transfer upload their payment slip during checkout. The slip is attached to the order in your dashboard. You review it, confirm it is correct, and manually approve the payment — the order then moves forward in the pipeline. This method is particularly useful for larger or wholesale orders where customers prefer bank-to-bank transfers.

What you can do

  • Enable or disable any payment method per store from the settings panel
  • Offer all three methods simultaneously and let customers choose at checkout
  • View payment status for every order — Paid, Pending, COD, or Rejected — in the same dashboard
  • Receive automatic payment confirmations from PayHere without manual checking
  • Review and approve bank transfer slips uploaded by customers
  • Track COD collections across all active deliveries in your reporting

Why payment flexibility matters

Different customer segments prefer different payment methods. Corporate buyers may prefer bank transfer. Regular customers may prefer COD. Online-savvy shoppers may prefer card payment. Offering all three means you never lose a sale because your store only supports the method that does not suit a particular customer.
